Ketola Wins $20M, Dvoress Takes Seventh Triton Title

The poker scene was action-packed this past week, with the Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju II producing several champions.

Ossi ‘Monarch’ Ketola was a big winner in a $20 million heads-up duel against Patrik Antonius, while Pedro Padilha, Daniel Dvoress, and Khoa Anh Ngo became champions at the Triton awards.

Moreover, these four wins marked another milestone since Dvoress now belongs to the club of seven-time champions while Ngo received his highest cash prize to date.

Ossi Ketola Beats Patrik Antonius in $20 Million Poker Match

Ossi “Monarch” Ketola has scored another big achievement on his impressive list of wins by beating Poker Hall of Famer Patrik Antonius in his match at the Triton Super High Roller Series in Jeju, with a stake of $20 million.  

Both players put in $10 million for the match, which Triton live streamed. 

At the start of the game, the level of stress was clear, and Antonius asked Ketola after about an hour of play if he was feeling anxious. Ketola admitted being nervous. 

Although the match lasted more than four hours, Ketola beat Antonius in the end, even though he struggled at the start.

Ketola showed from the start that he was determined to make a big splash. 

He made a $3 million bet on the river with  on a board of and a $2 million pot. 

Antonius had   but went on to fold.

Later, Antonius was able to put Ketola on a bluff with only queen-high when the board read .

Then things started getting interesting.

Ketola hit a straight flush with  on a  board, and after Antonius bet $625,000 on the turn, he went all in.

Antonius folded after two minutes of tanking.

After this hand he had an opportunity to double his stack with  against Ketola's . 

Ketola moved all in, and Antonius called for around $4 million, and the board fell , giving Ketola two pair and the winning hand. 

After playing Wiktor ‘Limitless’ Malinowski three times out of four earlier in the series, Ketola won about $16 million in total and was set to play heads-up again.

Pedro Padilha Wins First Triton Title for $1.4 Million

Brazilian poker pro Pedro Padilha kept his impressive form in place by winning the eight-max No-Limit Hold’Em $50,000 event in Triton Jeju II. 

The event attracted a total of 129 entrants, and Padilha was the last man standing and took home $1,400,860 as well as his first Triton trophy. 

This win is Padilha's second biggest in a poker tournament, after winning $3,160,000 from the World Series of Poker Paradise Triton $100,000 last December. 

His total earnings have now exceeded $8.8 million; he ranks third on the all-time money list of Brazilian poker players, behind Joao Simao and Yuri Dzivielevski. 

He is now only the fourth Brazilian player to win a Triton title. 

Padilha entered the final table in third place behind Aliaksei Boika and Nick Petrangelo. 

Phil Ivey was eliminated in seventh place for $271,000 and increased his career earnings to $55.9 million.

Padilha was able to reach heads-up play against Petrangelo, who had around a 2:1 chip advantage. 

They both agreed on a deal that paid Padilha $1,350,860 and Petrangelo $1,201,140, and they played for the title and $50,000. 

In the final hand, Padilha won with   against  after the board fell .

Daniel Dvoress Captures Seventh Triton Poker Title

Daniel Dvoress extended his brilliant run in the 2026 season by taking down the $30,000 No-Limit Hold'em eight-max tournament at Triton Jeju II.

The Canadian outlasted a total of 135 players to take home $942,000 and his seventh Triton title.

This latest victory puts him in a tie for second place on the list of Triton titles with Michael Watson and Matthias Eibinger. 

Currently Jason Koon occupies the top spot with 12 Triton titles.

Dvoress started the year with two Triton titles to his name but has managed to win five so far this year.

Among these five titles, three came during the same Triton Montenegro series, where he earned more than $3.2 million.

This win also pushed his lifetime cashes to over $59.3 million and moved him into 10th place on the 2026 Player of the Year leaderboard.

Dvoress was also able to beat Xuan Liu in the heads-up duel and win the title. 

It was a big rematch because both competitors were Canadians, making them the first to meet heads-up in Triton tournament history more than once.

This time, Dvoress was only one hand away from winning it.

His   held up against Liu's  on a   board for the wheel straight and the tournament win. Liu took home $638,000 for his second-place finish.

 

Khoa Anh Ngo Claims First Triton Super High Roller Title

Khoa Anh Ngo has achieved one of the biggest wins of his career by winning the $25,000 No-Limit Hold’em Titi Poker tournament in the Triton Jeju II series.

The Vietnamese player managed to outlast a field of 210 entries, winning $1,090,000 and walking away with his first Triton Super High Roller victory.

This victory also marked the biggest payday of his career and his first seven-figure score.

Ngo started his final day with six remaining opponents and managed to take the lead after scooping a massive pot versus David Coleman.

Ngo held  and went against Coleman’s , and the board fell , and Ngo’s aces held.

Coleman finished fifth, earning $330,000.

Isaac Haxton was busted in third place and received $515,000 after his   lost to Ngo’s .

The showdown between Ngo and Anatoly Filatov lasted no more than eight hands. 

Ngo limped with  in the final hand, and Filato checked with . 

The flop fell  , which was favorable for both players as they made top pair.

The   landed on the turn, and Ngo was in the lead after making two pair.

The   came on the river and did not change the outcome of the game, and Filatov finished in second place and took home $733,000.

This victory increases Ngo’s total winnings to almost $3.8 million.
